Mihon




"Kochira wa mihon desu."

Generally, "mihon" means "example copy." You see "mihon" used a lot in bookstores for the copies of books that you're allowed to flip through. When you decide to buy one, you get a copy that's plastic wrapped and in pristine condition. I've never seen it used for food... This was taken at a grocery store, and I guess it's supposed to be an example of what you'd get if you ordered a vegetable package to be delivered to your home. With this interpretation, the sign reads "This is an example."
